UAAP Cheerdance Competition 2008

Winning four UAAP Cheerdance Competition championships with its popular cheer U!-Nibersidad ng Pilipinas, the UP Pep Squad continues to ROCK and fight as the 2007 defending champions. A consistent competitor for the top 3 spot since 1996, they have emerged as the archrival of the opposing UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe.

I can still remember during my peyups days, the UP Pep Squad’s three-peat championship record from the year 1999 to 2001. A boosting grandslam win matching the record of UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe’s three consecutive winnings. And now, UP Pep Squad is holding back their championship stint as they defend their 2007 title.

Date:    7 September 2008

Time:   2pm

Venue: Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon city

 

We don’t need no fancy props or anything.. just getting there altogether with the winning spirit and the biggest hope to bag another championship title. All the isko and iska is now up again for the challenge to show the rest that we won’t stop sweating for the hot stuff.

Yup UP is the defending champs but I think FEU and UST stands a chance this season, I think UP won last season along with its reputation. Without its rep, it could have been UST of FEU all along.

Interesting post at that place, and i’ve bookmarked this blog too…keep up the famous work. I think that that would be very good when some students use your material in college term paper situation.
